Rimer Enterprises would like our customers to know we’ve worked hard this past year to maintain the on-time delivery and quality Rimer Enterprises is known for, all while keeping our team members safe during these difficult times.
As we look forward to 2021, and the possibility of a more normal business climate, we know there are more challenges that lie ahead. Finding and retaining team members has been, and still is, challenging and will come at higher costs. Increased cost of raw materials and transportation are also factors.
We have been, and will continue to be, optimistic.
We are poised in 2021 to be stronger and better equipped to supply our customers with the Responsive – Competitive – Quality Driven castings we are known for.
Process Improvements To Serve You Better
To serve you better, we’ve invested in equipment and process improvements over the last year to improve and maintain efficiency and help offset increased costs. In the 4th quarter of 2020, we purchased and installed our second MPI automatic wax press.
An automatic wax die (tooling) costs slightly more upfront, but does reduce the cost of every wax pattern made. This could result in a significant savings for you over the life of a project, especially on a higher volume job.
In addition to our wax improvements, we’re also adding a prime drying conveyer into our shell area. This is where we make the shell and is very critical to our process. This addition will increase capacity and throughput, while maintaining the quality of our shells.
We continue to strive every day to be Responsive – Competitive – Quality Driven
